Scholarship Money
The Women's Lacrosse Officials of Michigan (WLOM) board pledges up to $1000 to our members to help pay for registration for women’s lacrosse training in 2019. The WLOM will help cover up to 50% of the registration cost for any training of its members.

In order to receive funds the following criteria must be met:

Member in good standing with WLOM for the year in which the training will take place.

Training must be associated with MHSAA, US LAX, CWLOA, others possible check with the board

Submit a copy of registration form and payment to WLOM Board

Submit a copy of feedback from training to WLOM Board
Observation and Feedback Funds
The Women's Lacrosse Officials of Michigan (WLOM) board pledges up to $600 to cover the cost to have a high level official observe and provide feedback. The board will pay for a trained official to observe a middle or high school game and provide verbal feedback after the game. This feedback is meant to help an official focus on a few areas of their choice to help improve their officiating. The WLOM will cover the entire cost of having the observer attend a game and provide feedback for any of its members.
In order to receive funds the following criteria must be met

Member in good standing with WLOM for the year in which the training will take place.

Submit a request to WLOM Board with up to 5 possible dates
Certification
US Lacrosse encourages all officials to be US Lacrosse certified, and encourages lacrosse officials associations to follow the minimum standards for officials’ certification. It's our vision that all lacrosse contests are officiated by US Lacrosse-certified officials for the benefit and quality of our sport and for the enhanced enjoyment for all involved in lacrosse.
